DI Volunteers at KC Community Kitchen

In December, the DI Foundation took two groups of volunteers to the Kansas City Community Kitchen. This kitchen prides themselves on being more than just a soup kitchen, as the guests are treated as if they are at an actual restaurant and are waited on instead of going through a line. Our volunteers worked various jobs including: servers, beverage station attendees, hosts and food preparers. It was a very humbling and rewarding experience and we look forward to getting even more volunteers to go with us the next time!
